Helen A. Handley, 96, Crawfordsville, died 5:20 p.m. Wednesday in Lane House Nursing Home. Mrs. Handley was a homemaker and member of the Church of God. She attended New York schools. She was born April 12, 1907, at Oswegatchion, N.Y., to Lester and Emma Marsh. She married Eugene R. Handley on Oct. 31, 1930, at Akron, Ohio. He died in 1969. Survivors include a daughter, Betty J. Brooks, Marshall; two sons, Eugene Jr., Linden, and Donald, Circle Pines, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Irene Williams, died in 1974. Family graveside services will be conducted Saturday in Oak Hill North Cemetery, Crawfordsville, with the Rev. J.P. Morgan officiating. There will be no visitation. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, is in charge of arrangements.
